Who We Are
Spirit Mountain is a ski and snowboard recreation area in Duluth, MN. We were built in 1974 and since then have increased our number of trails by 78% and have tripled the size of our Chalet. In 2010 we expanded our recreation opportunities when we proudly built “Timber Twister”, the first Alpine Coaster in the Midwest! That was quickly followed in 2011 with the addition of the "Timber Flyer" Zip Line, a 9-hole Mini Golf Course, and a 6-lane Snow Tubing Park... all of which make up the year-round Spirit Mountain Adventure Park.
We are located just minutes from downtown Duluth and all of it's amenities, and as you make your way down our long and winding slopes you can enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Superior and the St. Louis Bay. We offer a variety of terrain for skiers and snowboarders alike, and host several races and competitions throughout the season. Spirit Mountain also boasts a full Calendar of Events so that no matter when you choose to visit us, you're sure to have a great time! We at Spirit Mountain like to think of our guests as family. Our goal is to ensure that each guest's visit is something they'll remember for a lifetime.
We want each of you to leave Spirit Mountain with a smile on your face... every time! That means friendly service, less hassle in the parking lots and ticket lines, less time spent in lift lines, and more time spent on the great snow we have. After all, that's what you come here for... FUN! So when you start planning your next trip to Spirit Mountain, give our Guest Service Hotline a call at (800)642-6377 or locally at (218)628-2891. We'll help you get the information you need to plan an easy and enjoyable trip that you and your family will remember for a lifetime!
Our Mission
