Thank you for your interest in joining our team at Spirit Mountain! Spirit Mountain is a year-round recreational area. Although we are hiring year-round, the majority of our hiring is done around the end of October in preparation for the ski-season (December-March). We do another smaller round of summer hiring around early June.

Most of our openings require weekend and holiday work. Examples of jobs include: Café workers, cooks, bussers, bartenders, servers, rental attendants, ski/board instructors, lift operators, cashiers, security, snowmakers, bus drivers, coaster operators and corral workers.
Employee rate season passes are $16.18. If you have already purchased a pass, you will receive a refund upon being hired.
Volunteer NASTAR PaceSetter
The PaceSetter is responsible for the setting of the course and giving the racers pointers on how to improve their time. They also must tear down the course. PaceSetters are also responsible for the handing out of the medals to the racers at 3:00 PM. PaceSetters along with the Race Coordinator are responsible for keeping the race shack clean and orderly, and any other duties assigned by management. The PaceSetters must attend the NASTAR PaceSetting Trials each season to receive a Handicap. This is held at a local ski hill appointed by NASTAR themselves. Guest Services Volunteers
Spirit Mountain Guest Services Volunteers are enthusiastic individuals who are, or have been skiers and/or snowboarders, or who have a good understanding of these activities. Most importantly, Guest Service Team Volunteers should enjoy being with and helping people. We strive to find individuals who want to share their passion for the sport of skiing or riding and a love of Spirit Mountain and the surrounding area. School Program Volunteer Instructors

Spirit Mountain Ski Patrol Volunteers

To work at Spirit Mountain, you must have proof that you can legally work in the United States. Some jobs require a minimum age of 18 years. The pay range is $7.25 to $8.00 for most first year employees with some exceptions. All employees must have a Direct Deposit into a checking or savings account. A voided check or savings account number must be given to Payroll when hired. Spirit Mountain Recreation Area is an equal opportunity employer.
