9/9 - Alpine Coaster CLOSED Sept. 20-21: 

The "Timber Twister" Alpine Coaster will be closed for scheduled maintenance on September 20 - 21.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  The Zip Line and Mini Golf will be open both of those days. 

9/8 - MINI GOLF Opens Today: 

The NEW 9-hole Mini Golf Course at the Spirit Mountain Adventure Park opens Today!  This is a one-of-a-kind mini golf course designed by nationally renowned architect, David Salmela.  Cost to play a round of mini golf is only $4 per person, and this is definitely something the whole family can enjoy!  Open daily at 10am.   

8/5 - ZIP LINE is NOW OPEN!: 

The NEW "Timber Flyer" Zip Line opened at 10am today!!!

8/3 - ZIP LINE OPENING DELAYED: 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the “Timber Flyer” Zip Line may not be open to the public tomorrow as originally planned.  The Zip Line was struck in Monday’s nights lightening storm and parts are in shipping to Spirit Mountain today.  Spirit Mountain officials are currently working to get the ride functioning as quickly as possible and want to ensure ample time to test the ride prior to opening. 

According to Renee Mattson, Executive Director at Spirit Mountain, “The “Timber Flyer” Zip Line is a fabulous and thrilling ride.  We had passed all inspections and conducted several rounds of testing before the lightening storm hit Duluth.  I am confident that our crew will make the needed repairs as soon as the part is in place and we will be up and running as soon as possible.”

Spirit Mountain is still hoping to open the “Timber Flyer” Zip Line at some point on Thursday, but is certain to have the ride available by Friday morning at the latest.  Stay tuned to this website for updates. 

8/3 - ROAD CONSTRUCTION: 

There is some construction being done on the frontage road to Spirit Mountain over the next couple of days.  To get here, take the I-35 Exit #249.  Then take the southbound frontage road (Cty Rd 14) in front of Country Kitchen Restaurant.  Follow the DETOUR signs down that frontage road to Ugstad Road.  Take a left on Ugstad Road (going under I-35) and then another left onto the frontage road on the other side of I-35.  This will take you to Spirit Mountain.  The detour route is only a couple of miles.  We apologize for the inconvenience and the regular road will be open again in 2 or 3 days. 

8/2 - ZIP LINE OPENING DATE:

It's official! Spirit Mountain will open the NEW "Timber Flyer" Zip Line at 10:00am on Thursday, August 4th!  The "Timber Flyer" will be open daily at 10am, with the same hours as the "Timber Twister".  We look forward to seeing everyone take a zip down the mountain!
