Nestled in a hardwood forest on the western high point of Duluth, Spirit Mountain's Minnesota Campground offers walk-in tenting, as well as 73 campsites equipped with fire pits, picnic tables and electricity - 39 sites have water hook-ups, and 2 shower buildings offer 24-hour convenience.
Spirit Mountain overlooks majestic Lake Superior and St. Louis Bay. Natural beauty abounds in the area - you can quickly and easily access water, hiking and biking trails and much more. The campground is located just minutes from Downtown Duluth, MN, Canal Park, Bayfront Park, the Lakewalk and Park Point.
Just take Exit #249 off of Interstate 35 and follow the Frontage Road signs to our campground office.

Camping Etiquette
- Spirit Mountain is not responsible for damage, injury or loss by accident, theft or fire to property of person of any campground visitor.
- Anyone caught intentionally destroying Spirit Mountain property will be prosecuted.
- Fires are allowed in provided pits only.
- Nobody under 18 years old is allowed to stay in the Spirit Mountain Campground unsupervised.
- Defrauding an innkeeper is a crime. We do record license plates daily, so please use the Self Register Box when the Campground office is closed.
- Please respect fellow campers and consider the ecology of the environment around you at all times.
