Spirit Mountain is THE place to learn how to ski and snowboard! With ample beginner-friendly terrain you’ll have more than enough room to spread out and test your skills.  And our NEW conveyor lift at the Lakeside Beginner Area makes getting back up the hill a breeze so you can save all of your energy for the fun parts!  The best way to ensure a fun time on the slopes with your friends is by taking an introductory lesson from our professional ski and snowboard instructors.  If snowboarding is your goal, by taking a Burton “Learn-to-Ride” Lesson you will have the benefit of using a premiere Burton snowboard designed especially for beginners. And you'll also have the benefit of being taught by Spirit Mountain's certified instructors who have been specifically trained to use the Burton Progression Method which has boarders linking turns within the first day.
